Steven Cook | Chicago Ventures
Investor Steven is a member of the team at Chicago Ventures, a seed-stage VC firm that invests in overlooked markets across the US and Canada. Previously, he worked at Accenture in their Management Consulting practice and at Ariel Investments, a Chicago-based mutual fund. Most recently, Steven played professional basketball in the Netherlands and Estonia, competing internationally across Europe. Steven holds a BA in Economics with honors from Princeton University, where he was Captain of the Varsity Men’s Basketball team and received CoSIDA Academic All-American honors. |
Kaitlyn Doyle | TechNexus Venture Collaborative
Director Kaitlyn Doyle is a Director at TechNexus Venture Collaborative, where she focuses on venture sourcing, due diligence, post-investment collaboration, deal syndication, and venture operations. She previously was a Director at IrishAngels, a Notre Dame-affiliated angel network and venture capital fund. During her time there, she led deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and general operations of the firm. Kaitlyn is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business. |
Tarun Gupta | Jump Capital
Vice President Tarun joined Jump Capital in 2020 and supports the team on all venture capital and growth equity investment opportunities. Prior to joining Jump, Tarun was on the corporate development team at Scientific Games where he helped the company complete eight acquisitions in the casino gaming, lottery, and sports betting space. Tarun began his career as an investment banking analyst at Livingstone Partners. Tarun holds a BBA degree from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. |
Kelsey Maguire | Sandbox Industries
Managing Director Kelsey Maguire is a Managing Director at the Blue Venture Fund, a unique collaboration between Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) companies, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, and Sandbox Industries, to which 36 BCBS companies have committed over $890 million across four funds. Kelsey currently serves on the board of CirrusMD, Insightin Health, and Ideal Option. She also helps manage the Fund’s investments in PWNHealth, Abacus Insights, emids, Lumiata, and axialHealthcare. Prior to BVF, Kelsey was the Head of Eligibility and Launch Operations at health insurance startup, Collective Health, where she led several operations-focused teams. She was previously an associate at the growth private equity firm TA Associates and began her career as a M&A banking analyst at Deutsche Bank. Kelsey holds an A.B. in History & Literature from Harvard. |
Miles Neumann | Insight Partners
Investor Miles Neumann joined Insight in 2020. Before Insight, Miles was a researcher at Harvard’s Belfer Center, focusing on China’s military and Russian cyber warfare. Prior to that, Miles was an intern at Bracebridge Capital, a Boston-based hedge fund specializing in relative value arbitrage. Miles graduated from Harvard with a degree in Applied Mathematics. While at Harvard, Miles was a Math Department course assistant, the Co-President of the Africa Business and Investment Club, and a Staff Editor for the Harvard Law School National Security Journal. Miles is originally from Point Clear, Alabama. |
