Anna Fang | ZhenFund
CEO, Founding Partner Anna Fang is CEO and Founding Partner of ZhenFund, an early stage venture capital firm in China focused on consumer internet and technology enabled companies. In her role as CEO, Anna leads ZhenFund’s investments, portfolio management and operations. Anna led ZhenFund’s investments in unicorns such as RED (XiaoHongShu), Perfect Diary, Yitu, Horizon Robotics, VIPKID, Mia, NiceTuan (ShiHuiTuan) and Good Driver. Anna started her career as an investment banker at JPMorgan in the Consumer Healthcare Retail Group. She later joined GE China’s Corporate Business Development team helping to expand the company’s M&A and BD efforts in China before joining ZhenFund in 2011. Anna joined Forbes’ Midas List of the World’s Top Tech Investors in 2019 at the age of 36. She is well recognized as a top early stage tech investor in China, having consistently been selected as one of China’s Top 10 Early-stage Investors by Zero2IPO and one of China’s 40 under 40 venture capital investors. Anna received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. She is currently an advisory board member of Columbia College and Columbia’s Global Centers; she also leads the Beijing chapter of Stanford GSB. |
Trey Hart | 50 South Capital
Managing Director Trey Hart is a Managing Director in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. He focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing primary fund investments and direct co-investments in all areas, with a focus on venture capital. He also participates in fundraising and portfolio management activities. Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Trey was a Vice President at Greenspring Associates, the global venture capital fund-of-funds based in Baltimore, Maryland. At Greenspring, he was active in all aspects of the investment process, including primary fund investments, secondary investments and direct co-investments. Additionally, he was active in the firm's global fundraising efforts. Prior to Greenspring Associates, he was an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the international law firm's private equity practice, where he worked with private equity firms in a fund-formation capacity. Trey is a magna cum laude graduate of Washington and Lee University and a magna cum laude and Order of the Coif graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Maryland Law Review. While in law school, he worked at New Enterprise Associates, the global venture capital firm, in its Baltimore, Maryland offices. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois. In addition, Trey serves on several fund advisory boards for funds in which 50 South Capital invests. Olivia Wang | Olive Capital
Partner Olivia Wang is Partner at Olive Capital (OC), a seed stage fund focusing on software-enabled biology, healthcare, and tech. OC’s portfolio comprises companies such as Akasa, Pardes, Science, Substack, Ender, and TR Lab. Olivia serves in an advisory role at Zhenfund and previously ran its cross-border investments. She has built a portfolio of 40+ companies, leading investments in startups including Synthego, Substack, Tagomi, Bolt Payments, Transcriptic/Strateos, Spring Discovery, Xtalpi (board observer), and Osaro. Previously, Olivia was an early employee and later a board member at Huobi, and served as the Chinese internet specialist at Credit Suisse in New York. |
