Alex Fitch is the director of U.S. research, portfolio manager and an investment analyst at Harris Associates L.P. As a generalist analyst, he is responsible for generating investment ideas across a wide range of industries and sectors, including commercial real estate, energy, financial services, transportation and technology. In addition, he provides continuing coverage of Harris investments.
Mr. Fitch joined the firm as a research associate in 2011 after having worked at UBS as an investment banking analyst. He received his B.A. in economics and math from DePauw University (2010) and is a CFA® charterholder. Harris Associates L.P. is an investment management firm with approximately $94 billion in assets under management as of December 2022, and is best known as the investment adviser to the Oakmark Funds.
