Question: There are multiple events throughout the week, but some conflict with my schedule. Could I only attend some but not all of them?
Yes! We understand everyone has different schedules, so you are definitely welcome to only attend the events that fit your schedule. In fact, we hope that the change from a one-day conference to a webinar series provides some additional flexibility for you to attend The Forum 2020. However, for us to effectively to provide important updates, we highly recommend you to modify your registration on Eventbrite to reflect your actual plans.

Question: There is an event that I really hope to attend, but it happens to conflict with my schedule. Will I be able to access a recording of the event?
Unfortunately, as of now, we will not be recording any of the events. We understand that you are all currently in different time zones, and we appreciate your interests in the event. We have been actively working with the guest speakers and workshop leaders on the possibility of recording the events. However, due to various privacy and compliance considerations, we cannot promise to provide recordings for any specific events at this point. We will let you know as soon as possible if anything changes.
Question: I have successfully registered to attend The Forum 2020, but where can I find the Zoom links for the webinars I registered for?
Thank you for your registration! If you have successfully registered for a webinar at least two days prior to your event, you will receive an email with the subject line "[topic of your webinar] Confirmation" one day prior to the webinar. In the email, you will find a link to join the webinar under "Join from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device." Please note that the link is unique to you and should not be shared with others.
*If you did not receive the email containing the link, or registered via Eventbrite within two days prior to the event, you should still have received a confirmation email from Eventbrite, with the subject line “Registration Confirmation for UChicago Investing Forum 2020.” In the confirmation email, you can find the instructions for an alternative way of accessing the webinars under “Additional Information”. The instruction includes a password and a link to a password protected page on our website. Once you arrive at page, simply follow the provided instructions and click on the corresponding event buttons.
Question: I have arrived at the password protected webinar page, what should I do now?
On the page, you should see a schedule and multiple buttons, one for each webinar event. Simply click on the button and sign into your UChicago Student Zoom Account, and you will be good to go! When you click on the button, it might direct you to a Zoom Registration page depending on the webinar. If so, please fill out the relevant information and the Zoom link will either appear on the page or be sent to your email.
*Note, whenever you are asked to enter an email for Zoom, please enter the email associated with your UChicago Student Zoom Account. If you have any questions on these steps, please reach out as soon as possible!
