Gretchen is a founding partner of FACT Capital, with 10 years of experience in global long/short equity. Prior to co-founding FACT, Gretchen managed technology and consumer investments in Hong Kong for Ruffer Asia, an active, long-term, benchmark agnostic manager which aims to produce consistent positive returns in all market conditions. Before that, she was an analyst at Citadel's Surveyor Capital, specializing in the consumer sector and at Sanford C. Bernstein in equity research. Gretchen graduated with honors from Harvard College with an AB in Economics. She also received an MBA and MPP from the University of Chicago. Gretchen is a National Alumni Ambassador of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and a CFA charterholder. She speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, and enjoys snow sports, surfing, and adventure hiking.
